How to Guarantee a 100% Qualification Rate in Raw Material Processing

Feedback Sharing of 100% Qualification Rate

Customer is machining a cast housing component in a machining center. Due to casting tolerances, the minimum Z-axis coordinate value of the housing’s height needs to be determined after the raw casting is clamped. By measuring different points on the upper surface of the raw casting using a touch probe, the coordinate values of each point are obtained. The optimal cutting depth in the Z-axis direction is then calculated to ensure uniform machining of the raw casting and a 100% qualification rate.
